Chile Fiesta de Diablitos is a small family business from Desamparados that sprouted from a family idea in 2020. The concept was to craft a spicy sauce using natural ingredients, steering clear of artificial additives like colorings, thickeners, and the like. We kickstarted with three sauce varieties—two with a moderate kick and one packing a fiery punch (Diablillos, Clandestina, and Jalameño). Over time, responding to the requests of friends and customers, we expanded our lineup to include three more sauces: two with extra heat and one with a moderate kick (La Parca, Viernes 13, and Chiquita Mamá). At present, we blend twelve different types of chili peppers, including two of the world's spiciest—Carolina Reaper and Ghost Pepper. These are processed using various culinary techniques to create each unique sauce. When producing our spicy sauces, we source chili peppers from local Costa Rican farmers. Likewise, we procure bottles and other promotional materials from local businesses, fostering a chain of local production.
